This year's first contact is for Star Trek online gaming consoles and PCs.
PC events will take place from April 2 to 23, while PS4 and Xbox will take place from April 9 to 30. The press release said April 5, 2063 was a special day in Star Trek history because it marked the first human contact with Vulcan.
During the first night of contact, you participate in a new patrol, launch your own Phoenix rocket and work at the final price, the space-time vortex detector.
Star Trek's first day of online contact began in Bozeman, Montana, and the same place where Zefram Cochrane created the historic Phoenix. The captain will contact Borg again in the middle of the 21st century, and Borg is trying to change the calendar to avoid first contact between humans and Vulcans.
